Winslow Homer: Society and Solitude
 

Winslow Homer: Society and Solitude: A look into the life and work of one of the greatest American artists of his time (1836-1910). Two one-hour programs chronicle Winslow Homer's evolution from wood-engraver to Harper's Weekly illustrator to an innovative watercolorist best known for his evocative oil paintings. Noted artists and scholars describe a man who lived in the midst of a lively and cosmopolitan New York City art scene, but gradually withdrew from public life, earning him the reputation as the great recluse of American art.

ELVIS LIVES: The 25th Anniversary Concert: Through the magic of modern technology, Elvis Presley is reunited with his original TCB band and back-up singers 25 years after his death, for a unique special, featuring Elvis from selected concerts including the Aloha From Hawaii satellite special.

The Elvis Lives concert was staged in August of 2003 at The Pyramid in Memphis, TN in commemoration of the 25th anniversary of Elvis’s death.

In this series, Burt Wolf travels throughout the world looking at the history, culture, customs, foods, festivals, and tourist attractions of some of the world's most interesting locations. Production has taken place in Ireland, Austria, Northern Spain, Atlantic City, Italy, and Santa Fe, New Mexico.
