Church Health Center Executive Director Dr. Scott Morris
WKNO-TV will premiere A Conversation with Scott Morris at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 27 on WKNO/Channel 10. It will repeat at 11 p.m. on WKNO2, available over the air on Channel 10.2 and on Comcast Digital Cable Channel 910.
In this interview, Dr Morris discusses his new book Health Care You Can Live With: Discover Wholeness in Body and Spirit. In the book Morris talks about how one’s physical health is affected by spiritual well being. In the half-hour discussion, Dr Morris also talks about how to take charge of one’s own wellness.
Dr. Scott Morris, a family practice physician and ordained United Methodist minister, founded the Church Health Center in 1987 to provide quality, affordable healthcare for working, uninsured people and their families. Thanks to a broad base of financial support from the faith community, and the volunteer help of doctors, nurses, dentists and others, the Church Health Center Clinic has grown to become the largest faith-based clinic of its type in the country.
