WKNO to Air Tape-Delayed Coverage of 2011 BlueCross Spring Fling- Track & Field and Baseball Championships

Memphis, Tennessee (June 8, 2011) – The Tennessee Channel on WKNO2 will air tape-delayed coverage of girls’ and boys’ track & field state championships and selected baseball championships Saturday, June 11-12. See below for exact schedule. WKNO2 is available over the air on Channel 10.2 and on Comcast Digital Cable Channel 910.

The airing of these games is part of a three-year deal between the Tennessee public television stations and the TSSAA Network, which is a partnership between the TSSAA and PlayOn! Sports.

7:20 p.m. (approx) Boys’ Track & Field Championships (Class A-AA, AAA, Div II)
The Track & Field Championships will feature Mid-South high school teams including: Arlington, Bartlett, Bolton, Briarcrest, Christian Brothers, Collierville, Cordova, Craigmont, Germantown, Evangelical Christian School (ECS), Harding Academy, Houston, Jackson Central, Martin Luther King Jr., Millington Central, Memphis Central, Memphis University School (MUS), Ridgeway, St. Benedict, St. Georges, Southern Baptist Educational Center (SBEC), Southwind, University School of Jackson, Whitehaven, and Wooddale.
