WKNO TO HOLD SPECIAL SCREENING OF DINOSAUR BIG CITY
WKNO Public Broadcasting will host a free premiere screening of Dinosaur Big City on Saturday August 13 at 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. at The Avenue Carriage Crossing in Collierville. The free event, which will be held in Suite 543 between Dillard’s and Jos. A. Bank, will also feature refreshments and prizes. Space is limited, so movie seating will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis.
The one-hour movie will also air on WKNO/Channel 10 on Monday, August 22 at 8:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. It also airs on Saturday, August 27 at 7:00 a.m.
Based on the popular PBS Kids show Dinosaur Train, the comical Pteranodon family appears in this feature film to introduce more exciting dinosaur facts as well as some life lessons. A collaboration of PBS Kids and The Jim Henson Company, this film blends learning and fun together with big dinosaurs and big musical numbers.
Buddy and his adoptive Pteranodon family board the dinosaur train with some of their Theropod friends to head to the dinosaur big city of Laramidia. They travel together to attend the big Theropod Club Convention. Facing their biggest audience yet in Laramidia watch as the group of friends encourages one another to perform and learn new things in this one-hour feature.
