For more than a quarter of a century, Great Scenic Railway Journeys and its creator, Robert Van Camp, have captured the world of Tourist Railway Adventures. In this anniversary special, Robert has selected his top 12 favorite rail journeys in North America. More than just a tour, these stories capture railroads as they defined the spirit of North America, creating a new industry and re-writing the history of North America’s transportation. Hosted by Grammy-winning musician and storyteller David Holt, this program looks at our favorite profiles, telling the unforgettable stories of historic and scenic tourist railroads from across the country. A number of these profiles have been updated since their original broadcast.

BETTY WHITE: FIRST LADY OF TELEVISION traces Betty's remarkable career, from her early days in radio to her first TV series as co-host of a live, five-and-a-half-hour, six-day-a-week variety show. She produced and starred in the pioneering sitcom "Life with Elizabeth" and was a popular TV personality throughout the 50s and 60s. A rabid game player in real life, Betty was a much sought-after game show contestant. It was during an appearance on "Password" where she first met the man who would become her husband and the love of her life, Allen Ludden.

The 1970s saw Betty win two Emmys for her role as the man-hungry "Happy Homemaker" on "The Mary Tyler Moore Show." Betty earned another Emmy in the mid-80s for her role as Rose on "The Golden Girls." She made history when she hosted "Saturday Night Live" in 2010 at the age of 88 - and won yet another Emmy. Although she continues to attain roles and accolades, Betty's true love is animals; she has been a passionate animal advocate throughout her career.

Join "The Prince of Spanish Guitar" for a romantic and exotic journey of music and dance that celebrates the fire, passion and spirit of Spain. Benise adds his signature twist to classics such as "Granada," "Malaguena," "Moonlight Sonata" and more. "Benise,"" as many of his fans know his as, is a flamenco artist who hails from an unlikely place. Judging by his music, many would think that he hails from a tropical land such as Miami or the Caribbean; but, in reality, Benise grew up among the cornfields of Nebraska, a state not normally known for producing great flamenco artists. After he graduated from high school, Benise moved to Los Angeles to pursue a music career. When he heard flamenco music for the first time on radio, Benise knew that he had found his calling. After refining his sound as a street performer, in which he mixes his flamenco with salsa, tango, and samba, he released his first album in 2000, and ever since, his stature has grown within the Latin music world.
