WKNO PBS Kids are committed to Early Literacy. Reading books to children from ages 0 to 5 provides special unique moments for parents and children to talk, read, and sing together, and learn something new.
Presenters include:

Dr. Shelly Counsell from the University of Memphis
Dr. Mary Palmer from Southwest Tennessee Community College & Early Learning Center
Kimberly Martin from the Memphis Public Library
Each family will receive a workshop bag filled with a Sesame Street in Communities-Talking is Teaching Storybook Kit, an age-appropriate book for an early learner, craft supplies & other resources for child language development.
Once registered, you will receive a confirmation email that provides the zoom link for your workshop and pick-up locations for workshop materials needed on the day of the presentation. Please note: you will need these materials provided throughout the workshop.
Please provide a copy of your confirmation email and your signature to retrieve the workshop materials from the library, while supplies last, through June 11; Monday through Friday during public library business hours. (Only one bag per family is needed)
