The Great Congregational Cook-Off

Judging Criteria

💠 Each dish will be judged based upon:

A) Execution: Did the dish come together well based upon the recipe? Did the cook successfully accomplish what their recipe describes? Does the dish meet the criteria of the specific category?

B) Appearance: Is it pleasing to the eye? Does it look appetizing? Does it entice you to want to bite into it immediately?

C) Taste: Is it pleasing to the taste buds? Does it make you want to eat more? Is there an appropriate balance of flavor?

💠 All entries will be scored on a scale of 1 through 10 in each of the judging criteria, with ten (10) being the best.

💠 Each contestant should submit sufficient product, sliced to facilitate adequate judging of the entry by 5 to 6 judges.

💠 Each congregation will be assigned a number during sign-in. That number will be attached to each of your submission containers.

💠 Clear clam shell food containers will be distributed to each contestant for entries. You may garnish your dish in the container to prepare judging.

💠 Until announcements are made, the sealed envelope shall remain in the possession of WKNO’s CEO, Charles McClarty, or other designated official from WKNO Channel 10 and opened by the official at the time of the announcement.
